Eliza, Artificial Intelligence Simulation

During the 1960s Joseph Weizenbaum created ELIZA. Eliza simulating a Rogerian therapist.
She passed a restricted Turing test for machine intelligence. Eliza was one of the first AI (Artificial Intelligence) programs and impressed many people who talked to her. 

 

ELIZA created a storm of public interest in AI (Artificial Intelligence) as it helped thousands overcome their personal problems.

Artificial Intelligence is the intelligence of machines and the branch of computer science which aims to create it. It is a technology that enables machines to converse with humans in natural language.

Very soon, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will create a new form of life.

 

The simulation of ELIZA is a complete implementation of the program described by Weizenbaum.
